Jamie made her way up through the towel hamper and to the sink; she examined the open outlet box. The wires looked safely capped, so she pushed her way inside and looked down through an open wiring hole. She could see a hole near the floor through which moonlight streamed - "the outside," she thought gleefully. Jamie squeezed through the wiring hole (one size too small, she grimaced) and half-fell, half-slid to the floor.
The hole leading outside was bigger, and Jamie quickly slipped through. It felt wonderful to be outside at last!
Jamie looked around, and considered her options. She noticed some high weeds against the house wall; perhaps she would find a treat in there? Or she could wander farther away from home, maybe even reach the other side of the yard. Or she could crawl around the house wall looking for other openings.
