Gut Check

So you've outgrown Chutes and Ladders, Monopoly is too predictable, and chess is all brain and no brawn. You need a game that takes daring and bravado, where victory is riding on a confident flick of your wrist, a game where a high-stakes player with a little luck and a lotta guts can come from behind on the final throw to win it all.

You need a Gut Check!

Players: 1-4

Object: The object of the game is to balance risks and dangers, to stop rolling at the opportune time (not too soon but certainly not to late) to be first to cross the Finish line.

Equipment:

  • 5 dice
  • Printer (to make game board)
  • Player markers (coins or small figures work well)
  • Rules / Gameboard (requires Adobe Acrobat Reader)

Assembly and Setup:

Load and print the above file using the free Adobe Portable Document Format reader software (available from http://www.adobe.com).

Rules of the Game:

Read the rules (printed directly on the gameboard) and get started! If you have questions or need help, or have ideas for improvements, just click "feedback" below.
