Shopping in Paris
Janet had purchased each of the girls a charm bracelet, with the plan being to acquire a charm in each city visited. This was a great idea in my personal opinion (Janet tends to have those a lot). When the bus stopped for a breather close to Notre Dame, the girls rushed to a charms shop to view the options. We returned on the last day in Paris to purchase their selections.
We also shopped at many street vendor stands during our stay. One was manned by two young men who flirted shamelessly with Carol ("Where are you from?" and "Do you like Paris?", to which Carol replied with commendable honesty, "No, not really!"). They finally presented her with a complementary model of the Eiffel Tower ("For the mademoiselle!").
