Kid's Cabin

We had reserved two staterooms, one for my dad and Dale, and one for Elizabeth and us. Unfortunately, my dad contracted an infection from a brown recluse spider bite and was unable to make the cruise. Thus, Dale and Elizabeth took one cabin, and Janet and I took the other.

The cabins feature separate twin beds (which worked well for Dale and Elizabeth), which can be joined into a double bed (which worked well for me, having left my teddy bear at home).

The kids' room seemed noticably roomier, though both were the same size. Both had ocean views, which added a lot to the experience. If you ever cruise, I'd recommend ocean view over interior. One day we'll try a verandah room, and I'll have a recommendation one way or the other on that, too.
